Annual campsites perfect for relaxation in the middle of nature, whether in winter or summer, because the campsite is open all year round!
Very near Lake Bütgenbach and the Hohes Venn nature park, almost 200 long-term camping pitches offer you the opportunity to feel completely at home in your caravan/mobile home – with or without a pet!
The annual pitches are around 100 m² in size and all have their own electricity connection (10 A). There are water points at regular intervals that guests can use. A total of 4 washhouses with sufficient toilets, sinks and showers are available there. The washing machine and dryer can also be used for a small charge.
You are also welcome to use our free bread and newspaper order service.
What to do
Here you can pursue a variety of activities such as tennis, squash and swimming in our indoor pool. Little guests are looked after in our Worrie Club during the summer months, while their parents can explore the RAVeL cycling/walking trail. Or how about a rally through the village with the whole family or a visit to the VENNtastic Beach? There’s something for everyone here – you won’t have time to get bored!

What costs are included in the annual rent?
The annual rent includes the municipal tax as well as the disposal of household waste and green waste. Bulky waste must be disposed of by the tenant himself in the municipality of residence. Electricity is charged according to consumption.

For how long can I rent the long-term campsite?
In principle, the rental period runs from May to the following April. The contract is automatically extended by tacit agreement for 12 months.
For a rental period of 3 months, 50% of the annual rent is charged.
For a rental period of 6 months, 75% of the annual rent is charged.

Can I reserve a pitch?
You are welcome to put your name on the waiting list with your contact details. We will contact you as soon as it is your turn and the next free long-term pitch is available.

Which forms of payment do you accept?
The annual rent must be paid in advance.

Are house pets allowed in the campsite?
Yes, house pets are permitted. Use of a leash is mandatory in Belgium. Each guest is obligated to adhere to the leash law, remove waste and to ensure other guests are not disturbed.
In addition, we require the pet owner to provide proof of vaccinations for each animal upon request.

Is a waste disposal station for chemical toilets available on site?
Yes, Camping Worriken has a waste disposal station for cassette-type chemical toilets.

Are there electricity and water connections?
Each pitch has its own electricity connection. Electricity meter is read once a year for the preparation of the annual bill.
Several water points are available on the campsite for campers.

Is the campsite open all year round?
Yes, the campsite is open all year round. To prevent damage to the water pipes, the water supply is turned off in November due to frost.

Can I register my residence at the campsite?
No, residence registration at the campsite is not permitted.

Can I rent a pitch with a lake view?
Our campsite has a limited number of pitches with a lake view. If you are considering renting a pitch from us, we recommend you take a tour of the campsite to view the available pitches.

How big are the pitches?
Our pitches are not all the same size. On average, the pitches have a size of 100 m².

What leisure activities can I use as a long-term camp guest?
Children can use the children’s entertainment free of charge. There is a reduced price for other activities such as the Vita programme or access to the beach. For hall rental you pay the regular price.

Who is allowed to use my caravan?
You as owner and tenant, as well as the mentioned children and grandchildren. Additional guests are welcome to stay with you and pay a surcharge at reception. Under no circumstances may the caravan be sublet.

Am I allowed to add on to my caravan or build on the pitch?
To do this, submit a pre-printed and completed request form to reception. After checking the request, you will be informed whether you are allowed to carry out the work. You are also welcome to check the house rules yourself to see what is allowed and what is not.
